From a premium selected vineyard in the Valley of Marchigue based on volcanic soils this is a true expression of terroir with a breathtaking intensity and richness. The bush vine Chenin Blanc grapes are fermented in amphora using natural yeasts, before then aging in the same amphora for a further 6 months. There is pure fruit character here as well as the oxidative notes from the method of winemaking. There are tannins in this white which are perfectly balanced by a fresh acidity and long supple finish. Great for drinking now alongside fish dishes or even roast pork.
