The 2015 is ruby-red, with an intense, lingering nose showing clear notes of sweet spices, cherry, blackberry and plum, rounded off by hints of violets, red berries and almonds. There is good balance and an appealing acidity in the mouth, accompanied by a pleasantly savoury slightly bitter almond finish. Young, fresh and fruity, this is easy drinking and very versatile with food. Particularly suited to pizza, pasta, carpaccio and dark green salads.
